Brick and block layer wanted in Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Franklin County, Illinois. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding You will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
