Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Upshur County, West Virginia. The role involves sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • 2+ years experience working as a butcher 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
