Lathe operator — Logan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Logan County, Kentucky. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card 5+ years on the tools preferred.
