Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Lassen County, California. Day to day you will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise 1+ years on the tools preferred.
