Moulder — Magoffin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Magoffin County, Kentucky. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Your main tasks: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Rotating shifts.
