Incoming goods inspector — Dubuque County

Ideal candidate: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting Rotating shifts.
