Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
