We are recruiting: bread baker (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The job is in a bread factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On the job you will handle: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
