Port container crane operator • Union County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Union County, Tennessee. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Full-time, day shift.
