Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Columbia County, Georgia. Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain The role involves: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator 6+ years on the tools preferred.
