Lifting rigger — Weakley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Weakley County, Tennessee. You will be based at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Part-time with flexible hours.
