Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Wright County, Iowa. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
