Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
