Day to day you will detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals.
