Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Park County, Colorado. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Full-time, day shift.
