Immediate opening: press machine operator (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Porter County, Indiana. The job is in a packaging factory. On the job you will handle: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
