Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Six days a week, one day off.
