Precision welder — Elbert County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Elbert County, Colorado. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
