Port container crane operator • Zavala County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Zavala County, Texas. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On a typical shift you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time with occasional weekends.
