Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go 3+ years on the tools preferred.
