Tiling assistant • Labette County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Labette County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy tiling site. Your main tasks: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
