Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in White County, Georgia. The role involves: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
