Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Wharton County, Texas. On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
