Tile setter — Rice County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile setter in Rice County, Kansas. You will work on a new-build housing development. The role involves match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints. You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
