Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Madison County, Alabama. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. The role involves: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Full-time, day shift.
