Punch press operator — Jahun

Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Jahun, Jigawa State. The job is on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₦400 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
