Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Cambridgeshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Cambridgeshire, England. Your main tasks: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 4+ years on the tools preferred.
