Oven operator — Beaufort County

Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Beaufort County, North Carolina. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls.
