Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
