Hand presser — Clark County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Clark County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
