Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Hamilton County, Kansas. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Day to day you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe.
