Garden maintenance worker — Cayuga County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Cayuga County, New York. You will work in a public park. You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Full-time, day shift.
