Bread and bun maker — Lisburn and Castlereagh

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Lisburn and Castlereagh, Northern Ireland. The job is at a busy bakery. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Day to day you will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity.
