Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in Midlothian, Scotland. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
