Argon arc welder — Frontier County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Frontier County, Nebraska. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
