Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Vigo County, Indiana. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
