Vertical milling machine operator • Telfair County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Telfair County, Georgia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron You will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
