The role involves: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
