Power float operator • Rush County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Rush County, Indiana. The job is on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Your main tasks: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls 3+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
