You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor You will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line.
