Rigging foreman — Dorchester County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Dorchester County, South Carolina. The job is at a power plant. Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
