Lathe programmer-operator — Benton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Benton County, Oregon. You will be based in a tool room. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
