Construction labourer — Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. You will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
