You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
