Join our team: bricklayer (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Harrison County, Texas. You will work at a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
