Argon welding operator wanted in South Tyneside

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in South Tyneside, England. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
