Furnace operator — Emure

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Emure, Ekiti State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
