Offshore rigger wanted in Lincoln County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lincoln County, Colorado. The job is at a shipyard. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
