Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Russell County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Part-time with flexible hours.
