Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Wheeler County, Oregon. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 4+ years on the tools preferred. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
